Eddie Rosenstein and Rick Velleu are award-winning documentarians with
a history of making films about “ordinary people just doing the
best they can”. Our
documentary film credits include: A TICKLE IN THE HEART, a
feature-length film about Klezmer musicians, which was theatrically
released worldwide in 1996; THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO MR. ALLEN, about
the leader of an embattled drug rehabilitation center, which won a
dozen national awards in 2000 (A&E); CALLED TO ACTION, an unusual
tale of those who helped the 9/11 rescue effort, which was nominated
for an Emmy in 2001 (AMC); REALITY PEOPLE, about people coming off of
reality television (AMC); WAGING A LIVING, a three-year portrait of
low-wage workers trying to become self sufficient (PBS) and AUTOBIOGRAPHY, the pilot episode of a graphics-heavy series in which
celebrities (in this case Dennis Hopper) tell their own life stories
(AMC). Eddie recently finished a
two-hour documentary special and an eleven-part reality series for
HISTORY about Sandhogs, New York’s legendary urban miners. Eyepop
